Pastors Message...

Welcome fellow pilgrim! I hope I haven’t lost you already by calling you a pilgrim or enticing you to go watch a John Wayne movie. While not widely used except in reference to Thanksgiving a pilgrim is merely a traveler or wanderer. Today we definitely travel so many places for so many reasons that often times it seems like we meet ourselves coming and going and can’t remember where we were going. Whew, I am tired just thinking about our pace. I am not alone with such a lifestyle am I? Ok good.

So as I type and you read maybe you are beginning to feel better about yourself because I am sharing about my basic struggle to find and keep my way. Sharing lightens our burdens and lights our way. Life is best lived when shared with others! There is no other pursuit so worthwhile. Conowingo Baptist Church is nothing more than a group of people striving to share life with one another. Sharing Life and Showing Love is there any pursuit greater? That is how memories are made and communities celebrate accomplishments rather than merely mourn disappointments.

We are just striving to be real people in need of a regular intake of fun, encouragement, wisdom and even some borrowed faith to keep on the journey through life. This life is only temporary but the next one lasts forever.
