MINISTRIES
Ministry is so important here at CBC through every generation. God calls us to use our gifts for His glory. He tells us, "and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone." (1 Corinthians 12:5-6) We serve the same God and invite all believers to help serve and be involved with the different ministries here at CBC. Please contact any leader if you want to get involved!
Children's Ministry
The children's department is very active here at CBC. Sometimes it is a little noisy too. Working with the children reminds us what the Bible teaches in Matthew 18:3 that "unless [we] turn and become like children, [we] will never enter the kingdom of heaven" (ESV). The teachers and helpers are grateful for what we learn from the kids and give thanks to the Lord for the opportunity to work with His precious children.
College & Career
The College and Career group is a ministry designed specifically for 18-25-year-olds, which meets on Sunday mornings at 9:45am. The primary focus of the group is to grow together, through fellowship, in the Word of God.
woMen's Ministry
CBC Women's Ministry encourages women of all ages to connect as the body of Christ, being knit together in love (Col 2:2), rooted and built up (Col 2:7), growing in faith (Acts 16:5), each part doing its own work (Eph 4:16).
men’s Ministry
The definition of "being a man" has become warped over many years. Review of social media, television shows, movies, and revered celebrities would indicate there are many conflicting thoughts on that definition. However, God's WORD depicts the only correct definition.
